Here at By Sarah London, we are thrilled to be unveiling a brand new project we've been working on for some time. Introducing: We Are Sisterhood!
As anyone who is familiar with our brand will know – we were born out of sheer sister solidarity. That same ethos really is at the heart of our exciting We Are Sisterhood campaign, too.
'When I was diagnosed with leukaemia aged just 23, my big sister Sarah became my lifeline. Quite literally. After acting as my stem cell donor, she set about creating innovative plant-based skincare to repair my fragile post-treatment skin. Nine years on, those very same blends make up our multi award-winning skincare line you all know and love today,' explains Lauren.
Now? We're celebrating others. 'We want to shine a spotlight on more women-powered ventures. The businesses and passion projects championing everything from sustainable fashion to social activism, with one thing in common – they have someone identifying as female at the helm,' continues Sarah.
Throughout June and July, we'll be showcasing the inspirational stories of so many incredible women on our website and Instagram channel @bysarahlondon.
Our aim is to spread the word about all the remarkable achievements, projects, compassion, love and hope women are sharing, while also inspiring others to realise their dreams and kickstart their own ventures.

'Data shows the pandemic disproportionately affected women. Just spreading the word is all it takes to support another female's work, helping them to grow their community and empower them to keep going,' says Lauren.
'We are so proud to be a female-run business but we just couldn't have done it without one another. We hope our new campaign will be a source of both support and inspiration for others,' comments Sarah.
