July was an absolute scorcher! Day after day of temperatures soaring and edging the mercury even higher. Sarah and I upped our intake of water (with additions of cucumber or lemon) and tried to keep cool. With some very exciting news this month, there was no chance of cooling down for too long...
3 New Awards
July was another stellar month on the awards front as we picked up 3 accolades at the Natural Health International Beauty Awards 2018! Our Organic Facial Oil and Organic Lip Balm were both Highly Commended and our Green Clay Cleansing Balm won a Special Recognition Award. Sarah and I felt incredibly proud to be invited to the award ceremony at Olympia in London. We beamed with joy as we collected our award certificates and had to pinch ourselves that at not yet a year old (a total newbie), we have now been awarded a total of 5 highly coveted industry awards (cue mini victory dance)!

Bath Salts in the Press
We also received some wonderful coverage in Marie Claire as Jasmine Hemsley shared her wellness warrior tips and highlighted our Bath Salts as one of her favourite evening self-care rituals. Our Bath Salts contain sustainably-sourced Himalayan Pink Salts, Dead Sea Salts and French Pink Clay; ingredients that replenish your body with vital minerals, such as potassium, magnesium and copper, helping to cleanse, restore and detoxify your body. Escape to the Cotswolds
Towards the end of the month, Sarah and I took a mini break in the Cotwolds. We met with local farmers who had just finished their harvest and we learned so much about arable farming, the environmental and bureaucratic pressures they face and the imperative of diversification for their survival (sounds dramatic, but sadly, it's their reality). So, if you have the chance on your next getaway to support the farming community by staying in accommodation or an Airbnb run by farming families, then do! The more we can do to help them and support the farming community, the better. New Stockist
Whilst in the Cotwolds, we took the opportunity to pay a visit to the wonderful team, Miguel and Clemmie, at our new stockist: The Store! Borrowing from the eclectic ethos of the Berlin flagship, the space offers the same carefully curated blend of fashion, art, music, books and luxury homeware in the more intimate surroundings of the Cotswolds countryside. It was wonderful to see the collection on shelf looking so inviting and to hear that our organic, plant-based skincare is so well received and loved already.
