May marked our 6-month anniversary! It's been an incredible 6 months at BY SARAH LONDON and I am so grateful for all of the support we have received, the kind messages from our customers and the inspiring people we have had the pleasure to meet and work with so far. And this is just the beginning!
May was also a month of travel, events and workshops across the UK! We had so much fun meeting new people, sharing our mission and passion for the beauty and efficacy of plant-based, organic skincare.
First stop on our May travels was Scotland! We arrived in Edinburgh and met with Dan from The Method. We were so impressed by his scandi chic lifestyle store and his mission of sourcing "beautifully crafted and designed products that make you slow down and appreciate each step of your day; that encourage more pleasure in the daily routines that help us maintain balance and wellbeing, both mental and physical". It was the perfect fit for us and you'll now find our Green Clay Cleansing Balm sitting on their shelves. We then travelled further into the Scottish countryside as we took part in a wellness day at the stunning Archerfield Walled Garden in East Lothian. The sun was shining and people were queuing up before the gates opened to join the day of yoga classes, talks, vegan food, smoothies, handcrafted beauty, clothing and lifestyle accessories. Sarah and I love to meet people and share our passion for organic skincare - and we had an incredible response that day too! Our Green Clay Cleansing Balm completely sold out! Some of the other exhibitors had some really beautiful products too, such as these kefir soaps from Miel Botanicals.
Completing our tour around the UK, we then made it back down south to London! We ran an in-store event at one of our stockists, Wolf & Badger in Notting Hill. We had so much fun meeting our wonderful customers, our BY SARAH fans who champion our mission and new friends who share our belief in the power of organic skincare! Sarah ran her Skincare SOS consultations and helped many customers that day to understand the benefits of using plant-based skincare and how best to apply the Green Clay Cleansing Balm followed by the Organic Facial Oil to cleanse, nourish and rejuvenate skin gently but effectively. It was wonderful to catch up with Ariane from FToxins and see our Organic Lip Balm featured the next day on their toxic to organic skincare swaps.
And the travelling is continuing into June. As I write this, Sarah is on her way to New York to run a similar even at Wolf & Badger in SoHo! She's travelling with our new Summer Travel Set which has our Organic Facial Oil, Green Clay Cleansing Balm, Organic Lip Balm and Organic Muslin Cloth, in mini travel sizes! They're so cute, but also very handy when you're travelling and want to keep up your organic skincare regime! I think they're going to be super popular!
Sarah and I took the chance to take stock of everything we have achieved since last November and we're so excited to continue on this journey! There's so much to look forward to in the second half of this year... is it too early to talk about Christmas? Maybe... Keep tuned and we have so much more to share with you over the coming months :)
