Meet Kayleigh, one of our lovely True Beauty Ambassadors. Here she shares her story, how she discovered By Sarah London and what it means to be an Ambassador.
Tell us a little about yourself
I live in Edinburgh after a spontaneous move 4 years ago and work in the tourism and live sporting events industry. However, two years ago I decided to pursue another interest and passion of mine, Pilates. I retrained to become a teacher and I now teach Pilates on a weekly basis to a wonderful community of clients within the city.
How did you hear about By Sarah?
I first heard about By Sarah London over a year ago during my search for natural skincare products. I saw several posts that Ella Mills had uploaded on her ‘Deliciously Ella’ social media page about natural beauty and the By Sarah Organic Facial Oil (listen to Lauren's podcast with Deliciously Ella). After heading over to the By Sarah London website and reading about how all the ingredients are listed on the front of each bottle I knew I had to give it a try. Finding natural and organic skincare products shouldn’t be difficult or confusing and the transparency is what I initially loved about the By Sarah brand and their products.
How has your skin improved?
In my teens and early twenties I was lucky enough to generally have healthy, clear skin. However, in the last few years I noticed a massive change. My skin became very sensitive; I had dry patches on my forehead and weekly breakouts. I changed my diet, tried different masks, moisturisers, treatments but nothing seemed to work and even though I know it shouldn’t have, I let it get to me and it really started to affect my confidence.
Within a few weeks of using the By Sarah Organic Facial Oil in the mornings instead of my usual moisturiser, I noticed that the dry patches on my forehead started to disappear and my complexion seemed brighter. After only a month of using this product every day, my weekly breakouts subsided and I now only get small hormonal break outs every so often.
The By Sarah Organic Facial Oil is now a staple in my all-natural plant based skincare routine after giving me my healthy skin back.
Why did you become a By Sarah True Beauty Ambassador?
Having a sister myself, the story behind By Sarah really inspired me. ‘Two sisters on a mission’ and the genuine love and support that both Sarah and Lauren have for each other is beautiful. I truly believe that we should all be supporting eco-friendly, British brands where possible and investing more in high quality, natural, plant based products to help support our health. I am so grateful to be able to support this brand and to be a part of the By Sarah family.
