The Green Clay Face Mask is bursting with antioxidants

We're thrilled to be bringing you our new Green Clay Face Mask. Fresh from product development in our Studio, we have created a face mask so high in antioxidants it will leave your face so clean and radiant, you'll wonder how you survived the week without it!

It's 80% Organic and 100% Natural, as well as certified Cruelty-Free and Vegan. And you might be wondering what gives it the incredible green colour? Well, that's all down to three superstar ingredients, each profiled below; and listed in full on the front label of the jar, giving you total transparency of the ingredients in this product (and across our whole collection). It's the face mask of all face masks...

French Green Clay

This clever clay is known for its detoxifying skin care benefits, due to its unique blend of minerals, including dolomite, manganese, silica and copper. It contains negatively charged molecules that cling to the positively charged molecules in your makeup and impurities on your skin, gently whisking them away, while removing dead skin cells and leaving skin positively brighter and healthier. Fun fact: the green colour is from the clay's iron oxide and decomposed kelp and algae content. You might recognise this ingredient as being one of the hero ingredients in our Green Clay Cleansing Balm too.

Organic Matcha Green Tea

Matcha Green Tea is usually enjoyed as a beverage, but the benefits are huge when applied topically too. In terms of powerful antioxidant and nutritional benefits, it's equal to about 10 cups of regular green tea! It's rich in antioxidants and, with anti-inflammatory properties, it helps to balance the skin by drawing out excess oil (in oily skins), reducing inflammation and sloughs away dead skin cells for healthier, deeply-nourished skin.

For the science fans: Matcha contains epigallocatechin-3-gallate (EGCG), which is known to combat the bacterial build up that contributes to blemishes and spots, playing a powerful role to help prevent acne and cleanse the skin of bacteria. Matcha's vivid green colour is from chlorophyll which is produced to protect the leaves from the sun right before harvest.

Organic Moringa

You might be more accustomed to adding Moringa to your morning smoothie, but when enjoyed as part of the Green Clay Face Mask, it has excellent cleansing and anti-aging properties. It's one of the world's most nutrient-rich plants. All parts of the moringa plant including the bark, roots, leaves, flowers, seeds, sap and pods are a storehouse of nutrients and antioxidants, making it widely known as the "miracle tree". Nothing goes to waste! This incredible plant has numerous medicinal properties. It is exceptionally high in antioxidants and contains high levels of vitamins A, C and E that promote collagen production, help to rejuvenate skin cells and improve the skin's texture for a smoother, healthier complexion.
